We had a great time taking APS High School students around our jobsites last month!

With the help of Ralph Baldwin (CEO), Darren Lewis (Superintendent) and Josh Bazinet (Project Manager), we had a great opportunity to share some of our projects with 15 high school seniors enrolled in the Running Start for Careers Program. This program is for APS high school seniors/juniors registered in the Associated Builders & Contractors and Central New Mexico Community College dual-enrollment course for skilled construction trades. This tour is part of an ongoing series of educational fieldtrips that allow students to physically touch and watch buildings come to life while instilling the importance of the skilled construction work. Students in the Running Start for Careers Program are seeking opportunities in various trades but all have a common interest in the construction industry.

It’s always great to see young minders eager learn about the construction industry, and it’s always incredibly rewarding to be able to share our experiences with them.
